Beach Wheelchair Rental
Our beach wheelchair features large, low pressure balloon tires designed to glide over sand and make Lake Michigan beach days more accessible for everyone.
- Large balloon tires designed for sand, up to 250 lbs capacity
- Removable umbrella for portable sun shade
- Requires an able companion to assist with pushing and maneuvering
- Best used at Berrien Street Beach, which offers a mobility mat & stair-free beach access
This beach wheelchair is designed for assisted use only and is not self-propelled. Pushing requires significant effort especially in soft or dry sand. Performance is best for beaches with accessibility mats.
Delivery is available exclusively to Berrien Street Beach in Union Pier, which offers stair-free access and a mobility mat for easier navigation. Store pickup is available for all other nearby locations for guests who wish to transport the chair themselves.
Maui Wheels Rental
Make getting to the beach easier. Maui Wheels are designed to help transport your Maui Mat, Kahuna Mat, or kayak across the sand with less effort.
- 12" balloon tires designed for sand, holds 330 lbs
- Best used on packed sand, beach access paths, and flat surfaces
- Helps roll large floating mats to the shoreline
- Includes, wheel cart & two securing straps for safe transport
